Septoplasty

Septoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to correct a deviated nasal septum, which occurs when the thin wall between the nasal passages is displaced to one side. Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) is a minimally invasive procedure designed to restore normal drainage and function of the paranasal sinuses. It is most commonly performed to treat chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, recurrent infections, and sinus blockages that do not respond to medications like antibiotics, nasal sprays, or antihistamines.

Using a thin, flexible endoscope inserted through the nostrils, the surgeon gains a magnified view of the sinus openings and removes obstructions such as inflamed tissue, polyps, or bone.
